Travelling long distances espiecially in a car can be tough to decide on what perfect outfit to wear. If you are like me you would want an outlook that is beautiful but yet simple and comfortable for the trip, espiecially on long hours trip. But of course how long the journey will last and the season of the year would play an important part in your choice of clothes, you would not want to wear a sweater on a sunny day plus a long hour journey. Or you might need multiple road trip outfits because your trip may last for many days.

Before stuffing your suitcase with outfits ready for the trip, i think you should read these tips;

1. CARRY A HANDBAG

If you are like me who hates finding stuff espiecially when i got my suitcase arranged already, you may like to carry a handbag to contain stuff you may frequently be in need of,  saving you the stress of unpacking your suitcase. I often go with a large handbag to a  purse, as it contains most of my personal stuff i would be needing throughout the trip like Suglasses, Face powder for touch-ups, hair ties, sanitizer, pen, notebook, phone, purse, perfume and of course snacks.

A large handbag would hold all your essential than a smaller hand bag, so go for a large handbag.

2. PACK IN CLOTHES WITH HIGH QUALITY FABRICS

I guess your favourite cloth is the one with the long lasting fabric, it's just never fading. They last longer no matter how many times you got them rolled in the washing machine. They have long lasting fabrics that prevent them from snagging so easily. Packing in high quality clothes into your suitcase will ensure you have the right clothes booasting your confidence. And they may be clothes you won't go a week without putting them on.

3 CARRY SUNGLASSES

You shouldn't forget to carry sunglasses when kicking off for a road trip. Aside the protection it gives to the eyes it is also a great complement to outfits as it will make you cute.

And also, staying in a car for a long period could be boring and tiring espiecially when your eyes are all fixed at the road, sunglasses could help cover your tired eyes and keep you still fashionable.

Sunglasses will help protect your eyes against dust and particles that move randomly in the air, so be sure not to forget sunglasses.

4. WEAR A COMFORTABLE DRESS

If you are setting out for a road trip be sure to wear clothes that will make you comfortable in your trip espiecially if you would be sitting in a car for long hours. You don't need to look heavy to appear beautiful, to me my best clothes are those i feel comfortable wearing not those that make me look work out already. You can decide to put on a top with a jean and a pair of sneakers to match, just make sure you don't wear anything that will denial you rest.

5. CONSIDER THE WHEATHER

Before travelling, you should be sure you are prepared enough to avoid the embarrasment that comes with wheather changes. Pack in layers if you are not sure what wheather is waiting for you. As you can easily wear layers or take them off at various wheather condition. A heavy outer wear like a sweater or a cardigan is cool for cold and a light wear is perferct for a hot weather nevertherless ensure that the outfit complement each other as you may not want to look horrible in your outfit.

6. WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES

I guess most girls would love high heels and wedges as much as i would, but you need shoes that you can easily take off and on espiecially as you woud be spending your time in a car and be comfortable walking in to quickly explore an area. Comfortable shoes are key.

In addition to exploring beautiful areas, opting for flats, slip ons, or sneakers makes it easy to slip your shoes on and off and you’re also not super worried if they get thrown around in the car. As road trips go, you usually have a bag full of snacks on the floor and if you take off your shoes they will usually get thrown to the trunk or pushed under the seat.

On summer road trips wear flats or sneakers. My favorite style of flats to wear is Tieks. I love this brand for several reasons but the reason I like wearing these flats on road trips is that they fold and come in a little pouch that you can throw in your travel tote or large handbag. When you need them just pull them out and slip them on for a cute road trip outfit.

7. PACK COMPLEMENTARILY

This is an important style tip to be considered. It is so tiring and can be frustrative to pack up all your favourite outfit for a road trip, i know you may not want to leave a dress sense behind but the stress of packing all your clothes can be manage if you learn a habit of matching clothes perfectly together. Just choose clothes that work well together and with everything, this will save you the stress of packing all your outfit in one suitcase.

Be sure to choose clothes whose colours complement each other well.

8. TIE YOUR HAIR UP OR PLAIT IT DOWN

Weather windows are rolled up or down there is no way to keep my hair beautiful after long hours in a car. In other not to be bothered by the natural lack of bounce of hair, it would be stylish to tie it up or plait it down.

Tie your hair in a way that looks cute with your road trip outfit. This will keep you looking beautiful even with the long hours you’ve spent on the road.

9. AVOID CARRYING EXPENSIVE STUFF

Travelling is an adventure anyone can embark on, it is important however not to travel with important stuff that could be ruin if one meet an accident. To avoid such damage do not pack anyting you don't want ruined.

10. PACK STAPLE DRESSES

One special thing about staple dresses is that they can go with sneakers, boots or sandals plus, it gives you a chance to show case your dress sense without sacrificing your comfort. Staple dresses are comfortable for any kind of seating arrangements you find yourself in and keep you enjoying your travel even for a long period.

11. WEAR LAYERS

Depending on the time of year you are traveling you might need to wear warmer clothes but one thing to always keep in mind is layers. If you get too warm remove a layer, if it gets chilly; add on your cardigan, sweater, long sleeve or jacket. You could wear a warm vest as a layer if the temperature is cold during your travel trip.

12. CARRY A SCARF

They are much easier to pack than outer dresses or jacket, making them the perfect travel companion. Scarves are easy to carry about, cozy and as such are perfect travel staple. They are perfect for long hour travel either to keep warm or to use as a little pillow. If it's hot where you're heading, then a light scarf can be great sun protection. A light scarf can be the perfect solution in countries where shoulders are to be covered.
